Johnny Bernard Mickens Jr., 67, 208 Brazil St., died Tuesday at Wayne UNC Health Care.
Funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. in J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations Inc. Burial will be at Wayne Memorial Park North.
He was born Nov. 3, 1949, in Wayne County to Johnny B. and Hazel Mae Jones Mickens Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Vangeline Pugh Mickens, and children.
Visitation will be Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the chapel.
