Our little angel, Alijiah Antwan McClarin, Goldsboro, was called to the loving arms of our Lord Friday, Jan. 6, 2017.
Alijiah was born in Pitt County Nov. 26, 2015, to Quashita Washington and Christopher McClarin.
A true angel, having innocence and purity of heart, Alijiah was a miracle and a blessing from the moment he was born. He shaped lives of family, friends and random strangers in ways that made them into better people. His smile was like sunshine, and his eyes sparkled with light.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 1 p.m. in Wayne County Cemetery.
At other times, family and friends will be received at 309 Meadow Road, Goldsboro.
In addition to his parents, Alijiah is survived by eight brothers; grandfather, Lyneil Washington; grandmother, Belina Price; godmother, Mary Sutton; aunt, Lazette Days; and a host of 13 aunts and uncles.
