Edward Winthley Gavin, 78, Kenansville, died Saturday at Vidant Duplin Hospital in Kenansville.
Graveside service will be today at 3 p.m. at Devotional Gardens in Warsaw, with the Rev. Jimmy Johnson officiating.
He was born June 20, 1938, in Duplin County to the late Homer William and Sally Johnson Gavin. He was married to the late Bertha E. Gavin.
Arrangements are by Padgett Funeral and Cremation Services of Wallace.
