William Ervin "Big Daddy" Edwards, 96, Rose Hill, died Saturday at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center of Wilmington.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Mount Zion Presbyterian Church in Rose Hill. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
He was born Aug. 23, 1920, in Brunswick County, Va., to the late Robert Irvin Edwards and Helen Blanton Edwards.
He is survived by wife, Erma Daughtry Edwards. a son and a daughter.
Arrangements are by Community Funeral Home of Rose Hill.
