Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, Nina Stevens McRae, Fort Washington, Md., beloved wife to Nathaniel McRae, devoted mother to five daughters, Joyce Marsh, Carmen Williams, LeGloria Warrick-Lewis (Terrence), Bonita Stevens and Helen Stevens-Swann (Martin), and three sons, Ernest (Anita), Anthony and Terry Stevens, died.
Also survived by three sisters, Hellena Jackson, Evelyn Jeffers and Linda Best-Colbert (Bobby); four brothers, John Best (Edith), Roosevelt Best (Anna), Roy Best (Edith) and Kevin Best, (Calandra); 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends Nov. 1, 2016, at National Church of God, 6700 Bock Road, Fort Washington, Md., 20744, at 9 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
Strickland Funeral Home of Temple Hill, Md., is serving the family.
