ALEXANDER WATERS
Deacon Alexander Brewer Waters, 90, of 3384 LD Hardy Lane, LaGrange, died Friday at Signature Healthcare of Kinston.
He was born Jan. 31, 1926, in Durham County to John and Dora Waters. He was married to the late Hoppie Waters. He is survived by his children.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Greater St. John FWB Church with the Elder Charlie Howell officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, LaGrange.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:30 until 3:30 p.m. at Haskins Funeral Home and from 5 until 7 p.m. at the Taylors Chapel FWB Church in LaGrange. The family will receive friends at the church Tuesday from 6 until 7 p.m. and at other times at the residence, where they will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
