Emma Jean Davis, 63, went to be with her heavenly father Friday.
She was the wife of Robert Lee Davis Jr.
Mrs. Davis was retired from Wayco Hams.
A funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. elder Hazel Gonzales officiating. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Davis is survived by a son, Robert Anthony Davis of Rocky Mount; a granddaughter, Robin Davis of Greensboro; two sisters, Lavern White (Michael) of Bennettsville, S.C., and Robin Freeman of Goldsboro; three brothers, Donald Davis (Kathy) of Pikeville, N.C., Timothy Davis (Rena) of New Bern and Ronald Davis (Pamela) of Dayton, Ohio; three sisters-in-law, Nellie Wooten of Goldsboro, Hedy Sutton (Allen) of Dudley and Ella Davis of Goldsboro; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
