Donnie Ray Bissette, 69, Goldsboro, passed away Friday, Sept. 2, 2016, at Wayne UNC Health Care.
Mr. Bissette was born in Johnston County Oct. 5, 1946, to the late Edwin Lee and Lula Mitchell Bissette.
He was retired from Ernest Glass Co.
A private service will be held at the home.
The family will receive friends other times at the home, 194 Belfast Ave. in Goldsboro.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Lassiter Bissette; one son, Donnie Ray "D.J." Bissette Jr. and wife, Elizabeth; two brothers, Bobby Bissette and wife, Ginny, and Junior Bissette and wife, Barbara; one sister, Margaret Pierce and husband, Ray; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
