CHAD KEARNEY

William Chadbourne "Chad" Kearney, 47, Pikeville, passed away suddenly Monday July 11, 2016, following an accident.
Chad was born in Wayne County, N.C., April 16, 1969, to William Kearney and Julia Hill Kearney.
He was owner of Kearney Insurance Group.
Chad loved the outdoors, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He also served as a group guide.
He especially enjoyed cooking for his family and friends.
He was a wonderful father, son, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed.
A graveside service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, with the Rev. Andy Stovall officiating.
In addition to his parents, Chad is survived by his daughter, Karley Kearney of Fremont; brother, Chris Kearney and wife, Sherry, of Cape Carteret; and his niece, Riley Kearney.
He is also survived by his fianceé, Jane Carter, and stepsons, Justin Aiuto and Hunter Carter.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and at other times, at the home, 180 Old Kenly Road, Pikeville, N.C.
