RENEE W. PATE

Renee Wadsworth Pate, 46, Dudley passed away Friday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family and co-workers.
She was the daughter of Carol W. West, Arthur Clarence West and the late Richard G. Wadsworth.
Mrs. Pate was a nurse with Wayne Memorial Hospital and a member of Woodmen of the World.
A memorial service will be held Monday evening at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Richard Hill and the Rev. Valerie Hardison officiating.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening form 7 to 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pate is survived by a son, Brent William Pate; a sister, Tracey W. Buchanan and husband, Armon, of Columbus, Ga.; her mother and father-in-law, Peggy and Thomas Patterson of Seven Springs; special friends, Gray Eason, Beverly and Bobby Williams and Glenda Beavers; and her pets, CiCi and JoJo.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Woodmen of the World, 215 Bert Martin Road, Mount Olive, N.C., 28365, for an educational scholarship fund for Brent William Pate.
