Hannah Mae Frederick Farmer, 93, Warsaw, passed away Monday, July 4, 2016, at Vidant Inpatient Hospice in Greenville, N.C.
Mrs. Farmer was born Oct. 27, 1922, in Duplin County, N.C., to John Frederick and Sudie Casey Frederick.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2016, in Pinecrest Cemetery, Warsaw, N.C.
Visitation will follow the service at the home of Johanna and Danny Cooper, 424 Blackmore Road, Warsaw, N.C.
Mrs. Farmer is survived by son, James "Pedro" Walter Farmer Jr. and wife, Sharon, of Wake Forest, N.C., and daughters, Sarah Farmer Canell of Sophia, N.C., and Johanna Farmer Cooper and husband, Danny, of Warsaw, N.C.
She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Lawson Williams and wife, Wendy, Jessica Holmes and husband, Pace, Eddie Canell and wife, Rhonda, Joseph Canell, Amanda Bradshaw and husband, Kevin, Catherine Register and husband, Ken, and Katie Cooper, and 10 great-grandchildren, Troy Williams, Eady Williams, Trevor Thompson, Chase Canell, Colton Canell, Nathan Canell, Cooper West Bradshaw, Hannah Dean Register, Adyson Jean Register and Reagan Casey Register.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Farmer was preceded in death by her husband, James Walter Farmer; daughter, Linda Sue Farmer Butcher; brothers, Robert Frederick, Nathan Frederick, Ben Frederick and John Norwood Frederick; and sisters, Rachel Baars, Ruth Kornegay and Mary Alice Frederick.
