Deacon Larry Donnell Parks Sr., son of the Late Vernell Parks and J.C. McNair, was born Nov. 26, 1954, in Wayne County and departed this life June 25, 2016.
Deacon Parks was a member of Pentecostal Holy Church, where he also served as president of the Men’s Choir.
Larry is survived by his devoted wife, Debra Rhodes Parks; two sons, Larry Jr. and Dominic; as well as other loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 30, 2016, from 3 to 7 at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, with the family present to receive friends from 6 to 7.
The funeral will be held Friday, July 1, 2016, at Pentecostal Holy Church at 1 p.m.
