Anne Harris Stacy, 79, Smithfield, died Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at her home.
She was born in Orange County, the daughter of the late William Thomas Harris Sr. and the late Mary Virginia Harris.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Malcolm "Mac" Stacy.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Smithfield. Anne loved her Lord, family and friends.
She also enjoyed playing the piano, singing, reading and golfing.
Mrs. Stacy is survived by her daughters, Vicki Stacy Newsome and husband, Sam, of Smithfield and LuAnne Stacy Killebrew and husband, Gary, of Smithfield; grandchildren, Cody Newsome, Connor Newsome and Mary Lindsey Killebrew; and brother, Tom Harris and wife, Sally.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, June 10, at Clements Funeral Chapel in Durham, with the Rev. Gary Killebrew and the Rev. Lee Colbert officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Hermon Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1 p.m. at Clements Funeral Home.
