LYNDA P. MALPASS

Lynda P. Malpass, 62, died Friday morning at her home.
Born in Wilson County, she was the daughter of the late Wade H. and Gwendolyn T. Pridgen of Goldsboro, and the wife of Walter Bruce Malpass of Goldsboro.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Leigh B. Gillis officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service in the activity center at the church.
Burial will follow in Willowdale Cemetery.
Lynda loved family, and was devoted to them first and foremost.
She loved her work and the people there, and gave her heart as the business manager for 35 years to Wayne Country Day School; in addition, she loved her church, and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Goldsboro.
In addition to her husband, Lynda is survived by a son, Robert Bruce "Bert" Malpass and his wife, Allison, of Apex; a daughter, Lynda Cameron "Cam" Malpass of Raleigh; a brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Allison Pridgen of Goldsboro; her mother-in-law, Carol Malpass of Goldsboro; three brothers-in-law, Mike Malpass and his wife, Lillian, of Atlanta, John Malpass of Goldsboro and Paul Malpass and his partner, Mark Hensley, of Raleigh; and two granddaughters, Anna and Molly Malpass of Apex.
