Charlotte Kates, 77, 1004 S. Madison Ave., died Thursday in Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at New St. John AME Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born April 28, 1938, in Chester, S.C. She was married to William Kates Sr.
She is survived by five children.
Visitation, with the family present, an hour prior to the service. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home, where it will assemble for the funeral procession.
Arrangements are by Haskins Funeral Home.
