Ms. Edna Mae Burden Davis, 81, 318 E. Spruce St., Goldsboro, passed Monday morning, Feb. 15, 2016, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center of Goldsboro, N.C.
The celebration of her life will be held Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, at noon at Woods Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 928 New Hope Road, Goldsboro, N.C. She will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 U.S. 117 in Dudley, N.C.
There will be a visitation held Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, from 2 to 7 p.m., with the family arriving to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m., in J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
She was born in Wayne County, N.C., Nov. 26, 1934, to Charlie Burden and Lou Stokes Burden.
She is survived by four children, Ethel Davis of Goldsboro, Floyd Davis Jr. of Raleigh and Melvin Davis and Kevin Davis both of Goldsboro.
