BRANDON KINCAID

Oct. 4, 1988-Feb. 9, 2016

Brandon Scott Kincaid, 27, Goldsboro, received his heavenly reward Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016.

Brandon was born Oct. 4, 1988, in North Charleston, S.C., to Gregory Alan Kincaid and Carla Taylor Kincaid.

Brandon graduated from Eastern Wayne High School in 2006 and Barton College in 2014.

While attending Barton, Brandon worked as a substitute teacher at Spring Creek Elementary School, tutored students at Spring Creek, worked as a math tutor at Mathnasium and also served as the youth pastor at Neuse Baptist Church.

A godly man, Brandon was a man of great faith, who was very willing to serve his Lord. His wheelchair never stopped him from serving his Lord, his community or family.

A true southern gentleman, Brandon took great pride in delicately spreading the word of the blessings of a relationship with Jesus.

Brandon taught second grade at Meadow Lane Elementary School, and relished being a role model to his students.

Brandon never met a stranger, and tackled life with great enthusiasm. He loved spinning a great story, and nothing was better than watching his beloved Carolina Panthers play.

In his spare time, Brandon loved the outdoors and online gaming. He especially enjoyed playing Clash of Clans, and nothing was better than battling his brother, Jonathan in Madden.

A service to celebrate and honor Brandon's life will be held Friday, Feb. 12, 2016, at 6 p.m. at The First Church, 1100 The First Church Road, Goldsboro, N.C. Committal services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery of LaGrange.

In addition to his parents, Brandon is survived by his best friend and wife of six years, Sara Andrews Kincaid, his soon-to-be-born son, Benjamin Scott Kincaid; brother, Jonathan Gregory Kincaid and his wife, Alexis, and their two children, Annabelle Grace and Mason Alexander; his maternal grandmother, Janet Taylor; his in-laws, Marie and Haywood Andrews and Karen and Terry Wallace; along with a brother and sister-in-law, Jessica Wallace and T.J. Wallace.

Brandon was preceded in death by a sister, Bridgette Anne Kincaid.

Brandon's family will receive friends Friday following the memorial service.
