Mildred Jernigan Cox Sutton, 83, Calypso, Duplin County, died Feb. 5, 2016.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Newton Grove. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Newton Grove.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Sutton Sr.; daughters, Connie Lane and husband, Stevie, of Mount Olive and Donna Hood and husband, Ronald, of Mount Olive; son, James Richard Cox of Eastover; stepsons, Perry Sutton and wife, Tammy, of Suttontown and Charles Edward Sutton Jr. of Dudley; stepdaughter, Betty Cowlishaw of Utah; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Horace Cox, and her parents, Rufus and Merribel Jernigan.
