GLENN PRICE

Newby Glenn Price, 68, of Fremont, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at UNC Rex Healthcare. Glenn was born April 22, 1947, in Wayne County to the late Newby Price and LaRue Price Long. Glenn was in the last graduating class of Seven Springs High School and served with the North Carolina National Guard. He worked most of his life as a sheetrock installer. Glenn enjoyed old western movies and loved a good meal at the Golden Corral.
A service of remembrance will be held today at 2 p.m. from Rouse Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Pollock officiating. Burial will follow at the Price Family Cemetery.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Virginia Pollock Price; two children, Susan Harper and husband, Hugh and Robby Price and fiancée, Laurie; three grandchildren, Dallas Harper, Hollie Harper and Allison Harper; two sisters, Vicky Griffin and husband, Dennis and Carla Toney and husband, Mike. In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by his sister, Lisa Ormond; and his beloved dog, Cammy.
