HILDA W. KEMP

Hilda Williams Kemp, 88, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Born in Wilson County, she was the daughter of the late Jimmie and Ethel Amerson Williams.
She was the wife of the late Oscar Carroll Kemp, and mother of the late Alan C. Kemp.
She was also preceded in death by a bother, Hardy Williams.
She was formerly employed with Big Brick Warehouse and Wayne Implement Co.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Goldsboro.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church, with Dr. Glenn Phillips, Jr. and the Rev. Scott Thrailkill officiating.
Family members will greet friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall.
Mrs. Kemp is survived by her daughter, Jan Kelly and boyfriend, Bill Yelverton; her grandchildren, Sarah Kelly, Andy Kelly and his wife, Erica, and Dylan Kelly; a great-grandchild, London Kelly; special friends, Carl Pollard and Kenneth and Nancy Fulghum; and her nieces and nephews, Julia Hendrick, Jimmy Williams and Jay Williams and wife, Molly.
