Emma Doris Murchison, 68, 1564 Lancaster Road, Pikeville, died Monday at her home.
Born in Lenoir County, she was the daughter of the Katie Mae Sutton of LaGrange and the late Elonzo Lewis.
Graveside funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in Wayne Memorial Park, with pastor Don Lewis officiating.
The family will visit with friends Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home and at other times, at the home of Emma Mae Murchison, 672 Watery Branch Church Road, Stantonsburg.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by three daughters, Mary Johnson of Goldsboro, Katie Lopez of Pikeville and Emma Mae Murchison of Stantonsburg; four sons, Anthony Arthur of North Carolina and Cedrick Johnson, David Robinson and Leroy Murchison all of Goldsboro; 14 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Dominick Arthur.
