ABDULLAH ALI WHITAKER

The celebration of his life will be held Oct. 18, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Bear Creek Headquarters, with the Rev. Timothy L. Dortch officiating. He will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park North.
There will be a viewing held Oct. 17, 2015, from 3 to 5 p.m. in J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. There will be a viewing beginning at 6 p.m. at Eastern Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, with an inspirational wake from 7 to 8 p.m.
Abdullah was born Dec. 22, 1982, in Wayne County to late Lawyer Junior Whitaker and Vivian Coley Whitaker.
He is survived by his wife, TaRhonda M. Whitaker; two daughters, Reginae and Madison; his mother, elder Vivian C. Whitaker and brother, Carlos Wooten.
