Bryan Jones, 60, 182 N.C. 50 North, Faison, passed away Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015, at Vidant Health Care in Greenville, N.C.
A funeral will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015, at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ashley Summerlin officiating. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015, at Devotional Gardens in Warsaw, N.C.
Bryan, born in Wayne County in 1955, was the son of the late Otto Jones and Herby Hines Jones.
He was the owner and operator of R. D. Jones Packing Co.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kathy June Pate Jones; daughters, Erica Mele of Faison and Hayley Jones and friend, Brooks Tucker, of Faison; grandchildren, Xander Mele, Teagan Mele and Mia Wade; sister, Randy Jones and husband, Mark, Carter of Mount Olive; and stepmother, Helen Gore Jones.
The family will receive friends immediately after the funeral service Tuesday, Sept. 1, at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home and at other times, at the home.
