Patti Fulghum Howell, 47, Pikes Crossroads community of Pikeville, died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2015.
Funeral was Saturday at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive North, Wilson, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Interment will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Evergreen Cemetery, U.S. 70 between Goldsboro and Princeton.
She was a teacher at Forest Hills Middle School in Wilson for 23 years.
A graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School in 1986, she went on to attend Mount Olive College, and graduated from East Carolina University.
Her favorite NASCAR driver was Bill Elliott. And when time permitted, she enjoyed sewing and singing.
Surviving are her daughters, Michaela Howell of Fremont and Avery Howell of the home; mother, Mary Lee S. Fulghum of Pikeville; sister, Virginia F. Kearney (Hank) of Fremont; brother, T.C. Fulghum (Barbara) of Fremont; nephews, Kyle Kearney and Matthew Kearney; and maternal aunt, Ernestine S. McKeel of Goldsboro.
