Arthur Pedro Heath Jr., 1620 Summer Breeze Drive NW, Albuquerque, N.M., formerly of Goldsboro, passed away Saturday at his residence.
Pedro was born Nov. 6, 1972, in Wayne County to Arthur Pedro Heath Sr. and Dorothy Horne Heath.
His life and service to God and mankind will be celebrated Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015, at 11 a.m. in Goldsboro Raleigh District Assembly, 211 W. Hooks River Road. His mother, pastor Dorothy Horne Heath, will bring the celebratory message. His mortal frame will be laid to rest in Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 S. U.S. 117, Dudley.
A wealth of beautiful memories is cherished by his parents, deacon Arthur Pedro Heath Sr. and pastor Dorothy Horne Heath of Goldsboro; his sister, Tonya Heath McNair and husband, Lamonte, of Fayetteville; his maternal grandfather, Jasper Horne of Goldsboro; his fiancée, Tu-Thi Quach of Albuquerque, N.M.; his baby brother, Brian Charles Lane of Manhattan, N.Y.; as well as a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Pedro will lie in state at New Greenleaf Church of Christ Disciples of Christ Church, 301 W. Hooks River Road, Friday, Aug. 7, 2015, from 5 to 8. The family will receive friends during an inspirational wake from 6 to 8 p.m. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of his parents, 315 Pickens Drive, where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
