JOHN ROBERT BERGERON

John Robert Bergeron, 93, Goldsboro, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
John was born in Milwaukee, Wisc., May 13, 1922, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bergeron.
He retired as an electrical engineer with General Signal, and had also worked with Heavy Duty for 30 years.
John proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during World War II.
He was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, Aug. 2, 2015, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Veterans Cemetery at a later time.
John is survived by his wife of 58 years, Irene Lillian Bergeron, and son, Daryl Bergeron and wife, Lesa, of Winston-Salem.
The family will receive friends Sunday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home.
