Doretha Cherry Cobb, a resident of Willow Creek Nursing and Rehab Center, died Saturday.
Funeral services will be held Friday at noon at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1065 Tommy's Road, with the Rev. Joe A. Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in St. John AME Zion Church Cemetery, 584 Pecan Road, Dudley.
A public visitation will be held Thursday from 2 to 7 p.m., with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m.
She was born April 11, 1928, to the late Lucy Cherry, and is survived by five children, Mylie Cobb, James Cobb (Gail), George Cobb, Tonnie Cobb (Carolyn) and William Cobb, and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will greet friends at 200 Banks Ave., Goldsboro, where they will assemble one hour prior to the service in preparation for the processional.
Arrangements are being handled by Hamilton Funeral Chapel.
