VIRGINIA "TOOTSIE" BROGDEN CRAWFORD

Virginia "Tootsie" Brogden Crawford, 84, resident of Willow Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, passed away Monday.
She was born Jan. 21, 1931, to Willis Aaron Brogden and Maud Faircloth Brogden in Wayne County, and was the widow of Thad "Toots" Crawford.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Russell Crawford.
She was employed with Borden Manufacturing, and retired after 28 of years of service.
Mrs. Crawford is survived by her children, Tommy Crawford and Ronald Crawford of Goldsboro; a sister, Connie Powell of Pikeville; a niece, Pamela Robinson of Pikeville; a great-niece, Hope Robinson of Pikeville; a nephew, Roland Cotie of Kenly; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.
In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. Crawford will be cremated with no formal services.
