EricTyrique Teachey, 27, 3822 W. Darden Road, Newton Grove, died Friday at Sampson Regional Medical Center.
Funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Goshen Disciple Church of Christ, with elder Alden Glaspie officiating. Burial will be in Sandhill Cemetery.
Born in Wayne County, he was the son of Robert Eric and Peggy Simmons Teachey.
A son survives.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church, with the family present from 6 to 7. At other times, the family will be at the home.
Arrangements are by Garris Funeral Home.
