Retired Senior Master Sgt. Earl R. Delancey Jr., 70, Goldsboro, departed this life Sunday, June 7, 2015, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center with his family by his side.
A time of visitation will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2015, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
Mr. Delancey was born in Rockingham County, N.C., Sept. 24, 1944, to Naomi Slaughter Delancey and the late Earl R. Delancey.
He retired with the United States Air Force after 24 years of service to his country.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Rabieb of 33 years; his mother, Naomi Delancey of Eden, N.C.; one son, Robert E. Delancey and wife, Sandra, of Las Vegas, Nev.; one stepson, Eli Henry III of Denver, Colo.; one stepdaughter, Lynda Cink and husband, Scott, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two brothers, Michael Delancey and wife, Tina, of Virginia Beach, Va., and Johnny Delancey and wife, Cynthia, of Ruffin, N.C.; three sisters, Joyce Parrish and husband, John, of Eden, N.C., Karen Bahr and husband, Bill of Crossville, Tenn., and Doris Little of Hutto, Texas; and several nephews.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
