Joshua Ryan Francka, 22, resident of the Mount Olive area, formerly of Southport, died early Sunday morning, June 7, 2015, in Brunswick County.
He was a 2011 graduate of South Brunswick High School, and was employed on the maintenance team with Friendly Mart Food Stores.
Josh is survived by his mother and stepfather, Marie K. and Mike Price of Mount Olive; his father and stepmother, Charles David and Donna Francka of Southport; maternal grandmother, Shirley King of Ahoskie; paternal grandmother, Marjean Francka of Missouri; stepgrandmother, Lorraine Price of Mount Olive; stepsister, Jill Price of Hampstead; stepbrother, Michael David Price of Mount Olive; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and many friends.
A service to remember his life will be held Wednesday, June 10, at 3 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Grandview Memorial Gardens at Clinton.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Tuesday night, June 9, from 6 to 8 p.m., and at other times, at the home of Mike and Marie Price, U.S. 117 Alternate North, Mount Olive.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial gifts being made to Bethel Colony of Mercy, 1675 Bethel Colony Road, Lenoir, N.C., 28645.
