Willie Lanier Williams, 67, died Thursday at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Fayetteville.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. May 28 in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
The visitation will be held prior to the funeral beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
The graveside service with military honors will be held at 10 a.m. May 29 at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake.
He was born in Martin County on May 10, 1948, to Katie Ruth Langley Williams and the late Willie Williams.
He is survived by his mother, two sons and one daughter.
