Vernette Rowe, 78, 648 Isham Frederick Road, died Tuesday at Life Care Hospital in Rocky Mount.
Funeral will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Rainbow Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bernard Fuller officiating. Burial will be in Devotional Garden.
Born in Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late Julius Carlton and Blanche Nickelson.
Two daughters survive.
Visitation will be Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel, with the family present from 5 to 6. At other times, the family will be at the home.
