Jack Lynn Williams, 60, Dudley, passed away suddenly Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at his home.
Jack was born in Wayne County June 13, 1954, to the late James W. Williams and Mary Grace Pennington Williams.
He retired from the county of Wayne as a 911 dispatcher, and had served his country in the United States Navy.
Jack was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church.
A service celebrating Jack's life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 9, 2015, at First Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Sherman Dilley and the Rev. Gary Bailey officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church and other times at the home of Bobby and Shelva Trivette.
Jack is survived by his daughter, Hillary Williams of Pikeville; son, Jason Williams of Pikeville; brother, Jimmy Williams of Greensboro; niece, Melissa Turner; great-niece, Graylen Turner; and the mother of his children, Lisa Trivette Williams of Pikeville.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the charity of one's choice.
