Thelma Goodman Fryar, 81, 1863 Goshen Church Road, Faison, died Tuesday at Sentara Hospice House in Virginia Beach, Va.
Funeral will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at Piney Green Disciple Church of Christ in Newton Grove, with apostle Craig Moore officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was born Aug. 20, 1933, in Sampson County to Hubert and Juanita Williams Goodman.
A daughter survives.
Visitation will be Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church, with a wake from 6 to 7, with the family present.
Arrangements are by Garris Funeral Home.
