Eugene Carroll Person, 82, Pikeville, died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Person, and two stepchildren.
Arrangements are by Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont and Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
