Elsie Jeanette Hinson Reed, 69, passed away on Thursday at Rex Healthcare in Raleigh.
Jeanette was born in Wayne County on March 20, 1945 to the late Arnold E. and Mary Elsie Jackson Hinson. She loved the Lord and was a dedicated and faithful servant her entire Elliot. She had a large extended circle of family and friends and they were all very special to her. She will be missed by her family, but greatly remembered.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 12:30-2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service in the chapel at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Kim Lancaster officiating. Interment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Jeanette is survived by her husband, David Reed; children, Sam Fraley and wife, Margaret of LaGrange, Michele Fraley of Fremont and Eric Reed and wife, Nikki of Pikeville; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings.
