THOMAS J. MOBLEY

Thomas J. Mobley, 75, died Thursday at his residence.
Born in Brunswick, Ga., he was the son of the late Alvin Carol Mobley and Bernice Morgan Mobley, and husband of the late Linda Willis Mobley.
He was retired as chief from the United States Coast Guard after 22 years of service.
A graveside service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park, with the Rev. Dusty Sprouse officiating.
The family will receive friends Sunday at the home of his son, Danny Mobley, 3957 U.S. 117, Dudley, and Sunday evening from 4 to 6 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
Mr. Mobley is survived by his children, Danny and Melissa Mobley, Teresa and Danny Kornegay and Yvette and T.J. Soto; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
