Eleanor C. Matheny, 99, Forest City, died March 5.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Judge Wade B. Matheny.
She is survived by her daughter, Alice M. Lancaster (Martin Lancaster) of Falls Church, Va., formerly of Goldsboro, two granddaughters and three great-grandchildren; and by her son, David Matheny (Linda H. Matheny) of Lake Lure, N.C., and two grandchildren.
Services will be at First Baptist Church in Forest City, N.C., Sunday at 2 p.m.
