Frances B. Meyer, 66, Morehead City, passed away Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015, at Carteret General Hospital.
Frances was born in Wilmington on Feb. 19, 1948. She graduated from Goldsboro High School in 1966 and moved to Carteret County where she lived for 45 years.
Frances was married to Paul Lee Meyer in 1968. They were married for 36 wonderful years.
Frances worked as an administrative director with Carteret Surgery Center for 18 years. She was actively involved in the Carteret Civic Community and attended All Saints Anglican Church. She loved reading, music, art and living in a beautiful coastal community.
She is survived by a son, Todd Martin of Wilmington; sisters, Gladys Remillard of Leland, and Jeane Jones of Kinston; beloved grandsons, Jake Martin and Henry Martin; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Lee Meyer; a sister, Sondra Lee Bossert; and her parents, Walter and Oprah Burton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to All Saints Anglican Church, 296 McCabe Rd., Newport, N.C., 28560.
