Dorothy Mae Scarborough Wells, 86, Pikeville, the widow of James Nathaniel Wells, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014.
Born on July 4, 1928, in Newberry, S.C., she was a daughter of the late James H. and Reba Scarborough Shealy.
She is survived by daughters, Margaret Ann Williamson of Columbia and Samantha Ann Jones of Pikeville; five grandchildren; and eight grandchildren. She was predeceased by sons, James Robert Wells and Robert Nathaniel Wells, and a daughter, Dorothy Faye Polson.
The graveside service were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at Rosemont Cemetery, Newberry, S.C. Memorials may be made to your local humane society.
Arrangements were handled by McSwain-Evans Funeral Home, Newberry, S.C.
