BILLY RAY REEVES

Billy Ray Reeves, 61, Dudley, went home New Year's Day after a courageous battle with cancer.
A private family graveside service will be held.
Billy was born in Winston-Salem on June 21, 1953 to Helen Owens Reeves of Mount Olive and the late Richard Herman Reeves.
His greatest love was his family. Billy worked in the welding field for many years following in his father's footsteps. He was a great son, brother, father and friend. Billy will be greatly missed.
In addition to his mother, Billy is survived by two sons, Jonothan (Jamie) and Jason (Bree) all of the home; three brothers, Danny Reeves and wife, Dottie, Bobby Reeves and wife, Marie, and Timmy Reeves and wife, Alicia; one sister, Deborah Reeves Nichols and husband, Allen; one grandson, Ethan; one brother-in-law, Clayton Maggard and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Billy was preceded in death by his sister, Janie Reeves Maggard.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
