Trimble, 20, Belmont, died Dec. 26, 2014, at his home.
He was a native of Goldsboro, was a 2012 graduate of South Point High School and worked at Joe's Little Touch of Italy.
Jonathan was a beloved son and brother. He was intelligent, kind, charismatic and a very talented artist. He loved hiking in the mountains and being in nature. Music, art, fishing and trivia were some of his favorite things. He was very giving and would do anything for anyone.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McLean Funeral Directors of Belmont Bumgardner Chapel, with pastor Joe Lawing officiating.
The family will visit with friends following the service.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Donna and Tim Sheppard of the home; father and stepmother, Jeff and Michelle Trimble of Summerville, S.C.; brothers, Matt Trimble and Tera, Christian Trimble and Caleb Trimble; sister, Heather Trimble; nephew, Landon Loucks; niece, Lillian Trimble; grandparents, Ed and Loretta Trimble of Goldsboro; aunts; uncles; and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Price and Emma Jackson.
