MARY K. MANUEL

Mary K. Manuel, 56, 166 Sleepy Creek Road, Dudley, passed away Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, at Wake Med Hospital in Raleigh.
Mary was born in Wayne County June 7, 1958, to the late Byard Grant and Hazel Smith Kornegay.
Mary was a woman who loved God, her family and especially her grandchildren, who referred to her as MeMe.
She also loved the beach, and went every opportunity that she could.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Manuel of the home; her daughters, Christina Driver and friend, Shane Martin, of Faison, Tara Mobley and husband, Greg, of Mount Olive, Sabrina Manuel of Peoria, Ariz., Larissa Vaughn and husband, Steve, of Peoria, Ariz., and son, Cole Tisdale of the home; five grandchildren, Delaney Mobley, Ryder Vaughn, Cooper Vaughn, Aiden Mobley and Nash Martin; her twin brother, Ricky Kornegay and friend, Dennis Sanders, of Mount Olive; special friend, Michael Howard of Mount Olive; and her beloved pets, Sophie, Sugar and Samantha.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, at 1 p.m. at First Congregational Church in Dudley, with burial following in the church cemetery.
Viewing will be held an hour prior to the service at the church beginning at noon.
