Shirley Gray Kornegay, 79, 114 Alex Benton Road, Newton Grove, died Tuesday at home,
Funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at White Oak Disciple Church, with elder Cleveland James, officiating. Burial will be in Kornegay Family Cemetery.
Born in Sampson County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Clio Kornegay and Vassie Britt Kornegay.
A daughter survives.
Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel, with the family present from 6 to 7. At other times, the family will be at the home.
