Melvin J. Carr, 62, Greenevers community, died Friday at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.
Funeral will be at New Christian Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Rose Hill Thursday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Cameron Hankins officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
He is survived by a son and two daughters.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home in Rose Hill.
