Deacon Robert Ezzell Jr., 138 County Road, Mount Olive, died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church, with apostle Preston Grimes officiating. Burial will be in Carver Cemetery.
He was born April 3, 1929, to the late Robert Ezzell Sr. and Katherine Matthews Ezzell, and was married to A. Mildred Williams Ezzell.
Six children survive.
Visitation will be tonight 3 to 7 at Garris Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends at the home.
