Rachel Royster Poythress, 78,1513 Peace St., Henderson, died Monday at Maria Parham Medical Center.
Funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at West End Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ralph McGowan officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens.
Born July 16, 1936, in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Graham H. Royster and Ruth Jackson Royster. She was married to Braxton Poythress.
She is survived by a daughter and a son.
Visitation will be Thursday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at West End Baptist Church. At other times, the family will be at the home at 1523 Peace St.
