WILLIAM "BILL" EARL HERRING

William "Bill" Earl Herring went to be with the Lord July 13, 2014.
He was born Nov. 2, 1943, in Warsaw, N.C., to late Lillie and Leonard Herring.
His home was in Kinston, N.C.
Bill was a Vietnam Army Veteran from 1967 to 1969.
Bill was a Christian, and a member of Warsaw Baptist Church.
He was a loving and generous man.
In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by three siblings, Dick Herring, Helen Jones and Grace Stotler.
He has two children, Dierdre Michele Lewis and Willie Ray Bowden; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sisters, Bessie Hollingsworth, Eleanor Whitmore and Sandra Dunn.
Visitation will be held 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2014, at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw Inc.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. July 19, 2014, at Community Funeral chapel in Warsaw, N.C. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Cemetery.
