Ms. Sylvia Alberta Graham, 58, 619 Devereaux St., Goldsboro, N.C., departed her earthly life Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at Glencare Nursing Home in Warsaw, N.C.
Sylvia was born in Wayne County Nov. 4, 1955. She was born to the late Mrs. Annie Grimm and Mr. Leonard Jones.
She received her education in the public school system of Wayne County, and she attended, and graduated from, Goldsboro High School in Goldsboro, N.C.
Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, July 19, 2014, at 11 a.m. in Apostle D.L. McIntyre Memorial Chapel at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, N.C. Pastor Nebraska Graham and elder John Graham will officiate.
Burial will be held in Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 441 Casey Mill Road, Dudley, N.C., 28333.
Also, a public viewing will be held Friday, July 18, 2014, from 2 to 5 p.m., in Apostle D.L. McIntyre Memorial Chapel at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, N.C.
Ms. Graham leaves to cherish her loving and precious memories to her beloved son, Ronnie Devon Graham; a brother, Jimmy Tyrone Graham; two sisters, Rochelle Graham-Smith and Daphene Graham; a brother-in-law, Deacon Ronnie Smith; a special and a devoted niece, Stephanie Graham-Miller; two special nephews, Kerry (Bucky) Graham and Maurice Graham; three great-nephews, Curtis Rogers, Malik Miller and Stephen Miller; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Saturday, July 19, 2014, the family members and friends will assemble one hour prior, at 9:50 a.m., at the residence of Mrs. Rochelle Smith, 916 A Lincoln Drive, Goldsboro, N.C., in preparation for the funeral procession.
Flowers may be sent to McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, N.C., beginning Friday, July 18, 2014, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
